Your health history doesn’t change your price. Age, area and tobacco use do. Pre-existing conditions are always covered, and tax credits depend on income.

Free to you. The carriers pay me, never you.
If your current plan is the right one, I’ll tell you to keep it.
Marketplace plans price everyone together. Private PPO plans price you on your own health. If you’re healthy, that difference is the whole conversation.

Medically underwritten, so your own health history sets the price along with age and state. Healthy people can pay less, and you can apply any month of the year.
Under current rules, Marketplace tax credits stop at 400% of the poverty line. For one person on a 2027 plan, that’s $63,840 a year. Earn more and you pay the full Marketplace price, which is where a private PPO often costs less.

I narrow everything down to a short list you can actually compare: monthly price, deductible, network, and what you’d pay in a bad year.
You choose. If your current plan wins, I’ll say so. If you switch, I handle the application with you and stay your contact afterward.

I’m a licensed health and life insurance advisor based in Tampa. I work with business owners, the self-employed and families across 31 states, with a focus on private PPOs, medical underwriting and group plans for small businesses.
Before insurance, I spent years in one-on-one client consultation in skincare and medical esthetics. The lesson carried over: people don’t want forty options. They want someone who listens, explains plainly and tells them the truth, even when the truth is “keep what you have.”
How I’m paid: You never pay me. When you enroll, the carrier pays my commission, and your premium is the same as if you applied on your own. If I recommend keeping your plan, I earn nothing, and I’ll still recommend it.
Plans from established carriers, compared for your situation by the same advisor you’ll call later.
Medically underwritten PPO plans that can cost less if you’re in good health, with broad networks and typically no referrals.
ACA plans that always cover pre-existing conditions and may come with income-based tax credits.
Health coverage you can offer your team, set up and managed without an HR department.
Dental, vision, life, accident and hospital coverage for the gaps a health plan leaves.
Plans are offered by third-party carriers, which set final terms, pricing and availability.
Every option has trade-offs. Here’s how they compare, honestly.

Some private plans are full major medical insurance. Others are limited-benefit plans that pay set amounts toward care. I’ll tell you which is which before you apply.
